Goldair Cargo Honored As Best Developing SME Business

Goldair cargo was honored this year as the Best Developing SME Business in Greece at the “ACCI 2013 Awards” of the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) held recently at the Athens Concert Hall.

Mr. Kallinikos Kallinikos, vice president and CEO of Goldair cargo and executive vice president of Goldair Group, thanking everyone who contributes in the company’s development, stated:

Goldair cargo SA, a member of Goldair Group, is an international freight forwarding and 3PL logistics company.
The company was founded in 1987 and today owns 75.000 sq.m. of covered warehouses and manages some 35 million pickings annually, which delivers throughout Greece and neighboring countries including Cyprus.

Goldair cargo, pioneer in the field of international forwarding, carries a pan European freight distribution network for 48 cities with daily and weekly departures, for dry as well as controlled temperature cargo, through a fleet of approximately 320 International trailers.

In addition, the company provides complete adding value services, like package design, blistering, repackaging, heat shrinking, flow pack and labeling, all supported by an in house computerized system, specialized in handling multiple barcodes and different clients.
The company has also developed exclusive co operations with companies that carry worldwide transport networks, covering through air and sea lines, intermodal container transports, consolidated airfreight consignments as well as any transport need, from and to all around the world, emphasizing in the countries of Asia, Africa and Latin America.

Goldair cargo bases its dynamic development in its highly experienced personnel of 260 people, achieving continuous and healthy growth. Over the past decade the company has raised its turnover by 500%, reaching 48.000.000 € in 2012, maintaining steady profitability while the equity funds have been increased by 780% (from 824.000 € to 7.325.000 €), following the shareholder’s decision to reinvest in the company, 50% of the profits every year.
